Maternity Care
The doctors provide antenatal and postnatal care in conjunction with the Integrated Community Midwifery Team. Referrals to the midwife are on a self-referral basis. Please ask at reception for more information.
Asthma Clinic
We encourage all active asthmatics to attend this useful clinic run by our fully qualified Asthma nurse.
Family Planning
Both the nurse and doctors will offer confidential advice during normal surgery times on all aspects of contraception.
Diabetic Clinic
The Diabetic Clinic is run by diabetic specialist practice nurses and nurse practitioners.
Minor Surgery
We offer a service carrying out small procedures at the surgery such as the removal of cysts, moles and joint injections.
Baby Clinic
The health visitors hold a “drop in” clinic every Wednesday morning between 11:00 and 12:00. All mothers are welcome to call in without an appointment for general advice on baby and child health care.
Childhood Immunization
Clinics are held on Wednesday afternoon from 14:30 by appointment. It is very important that all babies and children are immunized. If you have any concerns, please feel free to discuss them with your doctor or health visitor.
Adult Vaccinations and Immunisations
The pracitice nurse can offer advice and vaccination for Influenza, Tetanus and any travel requirements. Travel advice consultations are charge at £20.00
Health Checks
Patients over the age of 75 who haven’t seen the doctor annually will be offered an appointment or a visit at home with the nurse. All new patients are offered an appointment within three months of joining the practice to familiarize the practice team with their health needs.
Chronic Disease Clinics
We offer health reviews for patients suffering from chronic diseases such as Hypertension, Stroke, Coronary Heart Disease, Epilepsy, Hypothyroidism etc.
Cervical Smears
Carried out by our specially trained nurses.
